Andri Hess is authorized to represent clients before all Swiss courts as well as the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
Andri Hess is a board member of the Swiss group of AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) and a member of the Standing Committee on Client Attorney Privilege of AIPPI International. Moreover, he is a member of ASA (Swiss Arbitration Association), GRUR (Deutsche Vereinigung für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht e.V.), INGRES (Institut für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz) as well as of the Zurich and Swiss Bar Associations.
Andri Hess is editor of the only commentary of the Swiss Federal Act on the Federal Patent Court. Aside of this, he published numerous articles in various intellectual property and especially in patent rights related topics, regularly holds presentations before Swiss and international professional associations, and he teaches at the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (training course for the Swiss Patent Bar exam).
Andri Hess is elected associate judge at the Swiss Federal Patent Court. He is fluent in German and English.
