Daniel Daeniker

Daniel Daeniker’s practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, particularly cross-border transactions, and on corporate governance. Other areas of work include capital markets law, particularly equity offerings and IPOs, and financial services regulation.

Daniel Daeniker has spent most of his professional career with Homburger AG, after studying in the USA and working in Switzerland, Central America and Hong Kong. He has been a partner since 2000. He was head of the Corporate / M&A team from 2009 to 2014, was elected Managing Partner in 2013 and Senior Partner in 2019. He also chairs the India focus group of Homburger.

Daniel Daeniker is a member of the board of directors of Hilti AG, Schaan (FL) and has been Trustee of the Martin Hilti Family Trust since 2023. He is a lecturer in law at the University of Zurich, a member of the University of Chicago Law School Council, and a member of the editorial board of the legal periodical GesKR (Zeitschrift für Gesellschafts- und Kapitalmarktrecht).
