Lloyds Banking Group closes the sale of its international private banking business to Union Bancaire Privée

On October 31, 2013, Lloyds TSB Bank Plc (Lloyds) completed the sale of its international private banking business to Union Bancaire Privée (UBP), including its branches based in Geneva, Zurich and Gibraltar and its representative office in Montevideo (Uruguay). The sale, which was structured as an asset deal, took effect on November 1, 2013.
