Georg Rauber headed the IP / IT practice team during more than 15 years. Today, he uses his decades of experience mainly in transactions, litigation and arbitration proceedings in the areas of IT, digitalization and copyright law as well as in the area of marketing of sports events.

Georg Rauber headed the IP / IT practice team during more than 15 years. He has extensive and long-standing experience in all areas of the IP / IT practice team. He focusses on supporting transactions and represents clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings in the area of enforcement and licensing of IP rights, in particular software and copyrights, in IT projects and outsourcing as well as in the marketing of sports events. A further focus of his work is Swiss and international regulation for the legal profession.

Georg Rauber

Georg Rauber is a member of the IP / IT, Competition / Regulatory and the Dispute Resolution practice teams. He regularly advises clients on, and represents them in relation to, the interface of intellectual property and antitrust law. He regularly publishes and gives lectures in his areas of specialization. Between 2007 and 2012 he was a board member of the Zurich Bar Association, which he presided in 2011 and 2012. Since 2016 he is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Zurich Bar, and since 2019 he is a member of the Board of the Swiss Bar, which he will preside from 2025 to 2027.
