Meyer Burger

On November 11, 2022, Meyer Burger Technology AG (SIX: MBTN) (Meyer Burger) announced that it had successfully closed a rights offering, raising gross proceeds of CHF 250 m. As part of the transaction, existing shareholders of Meyer Burger were offered rights to subscribe for new shares at an offer price of CHF 0.267 per new share. New shares in respect of which subscription rights had not been exercised were placed in a rump placement. With the net proceeds from the offering, Meyer Burger primarily intends to finance the planned expansion of production capacity for its photovoltaic module production in Germany and the United States.

On November 1, 2022, StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SNEX), a global financial services company, announced that it had acquired Cotton Distributors Inc. (CDI).
CDI operates a global cotton merchant business and is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland with an office in Brazil.
Homburger advised StoneX as lead and Swiss counsel in this transaction. MCH Group

On October 11, 2022, MCH Group AG, a leading international live marketing company, announced the result of its at-market rights offering. MCH Group will raise gross proceeds totaling CHF 76.9 m.
MCH Group&#8217;s anchor shareholders, Lupa Systems and the Canton of Basel-Stadt, have backstopped the rights offering in the aggregate amount of CHF 68 m. Upon completion of the capital increase, their shareholdings will increase to 38.52% and 37.52%, respectively.
Homburger acts as counsel to MCH Group in this transaction.
