Homburger elects two new partners

The partners of Homburger are pleased to announce that Claudio Bazzani and Daniel Hasler became partners of the firm on January 1, 2015.Claudio Bazzani studied law at the University of Fribourg, from which he graduated in 2002 with an additional qualification in European Law, and received a doctorate from the University of Lucerne in 2007. In 2006, he graduated with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Chicago Law School. In 2004, he was admitted to the bar in Switzerland and in 2007 to the bar in New York.Claudio Bazzani specializes in large-scale internal and regulatory investigations and advises corporate clients in compliance matters. He represents clients in investigations by Swiss and foreign authorities, including U.S. authorities, and in domestic and international litigation and arbitration proceedings.Claudio Bazzani regularly speaks at conferences and publishes on topics related to his area of expertise.Daniel Hasler studied law at the University of Bern, from which he graduated in 2001, and received a doctorate (summa cum laude) in 2006. In 2003 he was admitted to the bar in Switzerland and in 2010 to the bar in New York. In 2009 he graduated with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley.Daniel Hasler is a corporate law specialist. He has wide experience in advising listed and non-listed companies in different industries in complex corporate law and securities regulation matters. Daniel Hasler focuses on M&A, private equity, capital markets and real estate transactions.Daniel Hasler has published various articles on topics related to corporate law and M&A and is a regular speaker on topics in his areas of expertise.
