Homburger awarded with IFLR Swiss Law Firm of the Year 2016 as well as Debt and Equity-Linked Deal of the Year

At the 17th annual IFLR European Awards on April 21, 2016 in London, Homburger received the awards for “Swiss Law Firm of the Year” as well as “Debt and Equity-Linked Deal of the Year” for Credit Suisse’s issuance of the TLAC bonds. The awards honor Homburger’s involvement in some of the most demanding and innovative finance, capital market and M&A transactions, in particular as counsel to Credit Suisse and UBS in the structuring of their novel TLAC instruments, to Morgan Stanley in the derivative transaction of Partners Group Holding, to Dufry in the acquisition of World Duty Free as well as to Kuoni in the sale of its European tour operating businesses to REWE. Homburger received the award for the ninth time this year. In addition to winning these awards, Homburger was also shortlisted in the following categories: M&A Deal of the Year (Lafarge-Holcim, Dorma-Kaba) and Team of the Year (Debt and Equity-Linked).The International Financial Law Review (IFLR) recognizes annually the most innovative international legal deals of the past year and the respective firms.
